Welcome to the “Ride for Justice”, a charity motorbike ride open to all riders who want to help us raise awareness of animal abuse and welfare issues in New Zealand.
By joining the ride, you are giving to our furry friends a voice, and helping us raise much-needed funds to support the Paw Justice Foodbank and our rehoming and adoption arm, PetRescue so that animals can have a second chance.
Paw Justice has teamed up Harley-Davidson for the 4th annual “Ride for Justice” led by a host of New Zealand celebrity riders. We welcome all types and sizes of motorcycles to this event. All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to help those who cannot speak for themselves.
Our inaugural ride in 2017 drew an incredible number of riders, with close to a thousand motorcycles on the day. The “Ride for Justice” is now the largest charity rides in New Zealand.
This year, the “Ride for Justice” will start at Smales Farm Business Park in Takapuna and finish at Parakai Springs. Riders are invited to join us for an afternoon of fun and entertainment, with food, games and something for everyone. Don’t miss out on the line up:
- Riders Raffle -Thousands of dollars of prizes to give away
- NZ Chopper Club Custom Show & Shine
- The Infamous Carters Tyre toss
- The Brazilian Divas
- NZ Arm Wrestling Competition ( The Arm of Justice )
- Food truck Collective
- + Much more…
Paw Justice exists to force change, educate and encourage people to make good choices around their pets, and to amend the law so that those who abuse animals receive a punishment that matches the crime.
Paw Justice has a goal. We want Paw Justice to be New Zealand’s leading organisation for Animal Welfare. But we face a challenge: how do we cut through the clutter of bureaucratic old-school charities, self-serving politics, outdated regulations and profit-driven corporates to make meaningful change?
We tackle our mission by being fearless and edgy. We’re defined by our defiance of what we believe is a broken system and a society in which most individuals love their pets, but too many people neglect or abuse innocent animals.
To prevent animal abuse, we believe that our rebellious approach is exactly what New Zealand needs. New Zealand needs a shake-up and we’re the guys to do it. Ultimately, we want members of the public to practice, promote and maintain ‘responsible pet ownership’.
