"Ridiculous" launch date strategy that keeps working

"Ridiculous" launch date strategy that keeps working

Something weird happened during Day 3 of our 7-Figure Growth Accelerator…

We were discussing launch dates for a new high-ticket offer when Y (one of our participants) casually dropped this bombshell…

"By the way, from a numerology perspective, launching on the 28th is a really good date because it's a money number."

I'll admit it… my first internal reaction was skeptical.

This sounded like the kind of "woo-woo" advice that serious business owners might roll their eyes at.

But then she followed up with something that made me pause…

"Those born on the 28th, they're incredibly lucky with money. But if you use that, you can leverage the energy of 28 as a money number."

Here’s the weird thing about marketing psychology…

It doesn't actually matter if YOU believe in numerology.

What matters is that many of your potential clients might have subconscious associations with certain numbers, dates, or patterns.

In marketing, perception often trumps reality.

This reminds me of something I learned years ago from a mentor…

"The market doesn't care what YOU believe. The market only cares what THEY believe."

Think about it…

  • Hotels frequently skip the 13th floor because of widespread superstition (especially in Asia)
  • Many luxury brands price products ending in 7 or 8 instead of 9 because they "feel" more premium
  • Major product launches are carefully timed to align with cultural beliefs about auspicious dates

These decisions aren't made because CEOs are superstitious…

(Well, some probably are…)

They're made because companies understand that tapping into existing belief systems creates powerful psychological alignment.

Perhaps, she just did every major launch on the 28th…

So confirmation bias?

Maybe.

But when something works, I pay attention.

Now, I'm not suggesting you base your entire marketing strategy on numerology.

But I am suggesting you consider…

  • What subtle beliefs might your audience already hold?
  • How can you align your marketing with these existing belief systems?
  • What small adjustments could create unconscious resonance with your offers?

Sometimes the most "ridiculous-sounding" strategies are precisely what give you an edge over competitors who dismiss them.

Speaking of psychology and belief systems…

This Tuesday at 3pm EST, I'm hosting my "Self-Image Alchemy Workshop" where we'll explore something far more powerful than launch dates… your fundamental identity as an entrepreneur.

We'll be exploring how to consciously redesign your self-image to naturally attract high-ticket clients and 7-figure opportunities.
