(Paris, January 27, 2025) RIDE!, a leading provider of satellite mission management services, is proud to announce the successful deployment of its latest mission, Deep Blue RIDE!, marking the company’s fourth successful mission overall and its first of 2025. The mission, carried aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket as part of the Transporter-12 rideshare program, launched on January 14, 2025, and delivered a total of 130 payloads to orbit, including the satellite of RIDE!’s client, SatRev.
This achievement is the culmination of months of meticulous planning and collaboration between RIDE!, SatRev, and Impulse Space. The journey began in mid-November 2024, when SatRev’s 6U-XL satellite was shipped from Europe to the integration facilities in Los Angeles. There, the satellite underwent critical integration into the Exopod deployer, in partnership with Exolaunch, before being mounted onto the Mira vehicle from Impulse Space. This detailed process ensured the satellite was ready for its final step—transport to Vandenberg, California, for the highly anticipated launch.
On January 14, the skies over Vandenberg opened as Falcon 9 lifted off at 11:09 a.m. PT, with Deep Blue RIDE! securing its place in space. This launch represents not only the realization of months of hard work but also a significant step forward in RIDE!’s commitment to delivering end-to-end satellite launch services for its clients.
A Mission Rooted in Innovation and Environmental Stewardship
The Deep Blue RIDE! mission is not just another launch for RIDE! The official mission patch, unveiled on January 14, has a design inspired by the classic sci-fi film Deep Blue Sea. The patch features the satellite orbiting Earth’s oceans, symbolizing its role in supporting efforts to monitor and protect the planet's fragile marine environments.
RIDE!’s team of mission managers played a key role in ensuring the mission's success, guiding SatRev through every phase—from integration to liftoff. Their expertise in handling mission logistics was critical to the smooth and efficient execution of the launch, demonstrating the company’s continued leadership in the satellite launch management space.
