Ride to Reach Reflections

Ride to Reach Reflections

The Ride to Reach challenge proved to be an unforgettable experience.

The recent challenge of cycling 650km across Cambodia was tough, both physically and mentally. But with determination and grit, the greater purpose kept our team pushing forward.

The Ride to Reach challenge seeks to raise much-needed funds for REACH Siem Reap , a cause that works closely with families in Cambodia to break long-standing cycles of poverty.

Through their integrated program offerings and day-to-day support, REACH aims to meet the needs of each child and their family, so that they can effectively break free from poverty in the long term.

It was inspiring to see people coming from all around the world to participate in the challenge and support this cause. Together, we raised over AUD 200,000 for the cause.

The journey took us through the picturesque Cambodian countryside and the bustling capital city of Phnom Penh. Along the way, we encountered all sorts of weather and road conditions, on top of facing many personal challenges. But we persisted and emerged stronger and more united than ever.

The highlight of the trip was seeing the impact of our efforts firsthand. I had the privilege of meeting some of the families and children that REACH works with, and it was rewarding to see first-hand the positive impact that our support has had on their lives.?

The Ride to Reach challenge was a true testament to the power of community and how individuals can make a real difference when they come together in support of a great cause.

The work that REACH is doing in Cambodia is making a real difference in the lives of families, and it is an honour to be a part of that change, I look forward to continuing my support of REACH in the future.
