Rick Justus launches a counter-offensive against Pope Francis

My Dad shared an article entitled The “Economy of Francis” Pushes Poverty and Pulverizes Achievement – TFP.

The title says it all.

My Dad knew this anti-abundance thesis would make my blood boil.

And, compassion washes away my anger and replaces it with love because every world tour I’ve taken reveals the obvious consequences and somber elements of communism such as little food, empty shelves, the absence of goods, inadequate shelter, run-down buildings, dull clothing, and so on.

For clarity, at their last international event, Pope Francis didn’t just give an address.

He wants to change the current world paradigm with a new one.

Pope Francis calls this new paradigm a “universal fraternity.”

This sounds pleasant, but he’s referring to a “fraternity of equals.”

In other words, he’s endorsing what’s known as egalitarianism.

To cut to the chase, this is equivalent to the dictatorial nature and drabness of socialism and communism.

It would simply be too shocking to promote poverty for all.

So, instead, he is manipulating the concept of consumption and aiming to make it a dirty word.

However, it takes temperate consumerism to achieve our purpose, mission, and vision – the Abundance Game.

Consumption isn’t just required for survival (i.e. the bare necessities of life), it’s essential for well-being.

Consumption is essential for total abundance well-being in every area of our lives – all 12 areas of our lives.

The concept of consumption includes everything indispensable for abundance – love, live, give, and enjoy, the four universal laws that guarantee our individual and collective abundance.

We’re not making a case for capitalism (Capitalism 2.0) as much as a case for an abundant humanity.

We are a stand for abundance.

So, we take a stand.

We deeply believe that abundance is humanity’s grandest challenge.

The anti-consumerist bias of socialism says you must keep only the essentials and give any and all excess to those who have little.

In a society where no one benefits from hard work, no one wants to work hard.

Such a society will result in laziness, slip into detrimental poverty, and has a tendency towards barbarism.

Abundance disappears.

Excess disappears.

Finally, even the essential necessities of life disappear.

I’ve lived outside the U.S. for some 20 years, in more than 60 countries.

Monique and I don’t traffic in theories and concepts.

I’ve lived in the streets of the real world; Thus, I pride myself in being street-smart.

I’ve spent enormous amounts of time with the poor, even the poorest of the poor.

I participated in micro-finance before it had a name.

I have helped launch hundreds of businesses with the poor, even when the government stopped funding.

This isn’t about me.

I’m simply saying I know what’s out there.

Those who promote pauperism live high on the hog.

Did you know that, as of November 2020, Pope Francis has an estimated net worth of about $80 million?

Those who propose poverty continue to personally benefit from capitalism.

This can only mean one thing.

They have an ulterior motive.

It may be hidden.

And it may be out in the open, plain as day.

Why bring everyone down to the level of poverty when you can bring everyone up to the level of abundance?

I’ve never met a poor person that genuinely wants to be poor.

We have met many who are content with little; That’s an entirely different thing.

I know, because this is my story; I am content with little.

But I’m changing because transformation has not been without effect.

I can’t be, do, have, and give all that is in my heart if I give it all away.

There is this thing known around the world as the American Dream.

Today, we introduce something more.

It’s called the Abundance Dream.

It’s available to all.

Anywhere.

Anytime.

Here and now.

But go.

Go where you must to fulfill all that is in your heart.

You aren’t any less of a patriot if you leave your home country.

Just don’t betray your original vision.

Wherever the people are that you’re called to help, help them.

We live in a time of unprecedented opportunity.

Exponential technologies expand and improve our reach.

Remember, I’m still young.

I’m only 48.

I’m just getting started.

In fact, I feel like I spent the first 34 years preparing for this beautiful new start line.

This next race will be unlike any other.

By the grace of God, I have at least 52 good years left in me to do awe-inspiring good in the world.

I gave away nearly all of the $32 billion I helped generate in my first 34 years.

But, over time, my view of money has changed greatly.

Without money, your hands are tied.

There’s not much good you can do in the world.

Look more closely at the meaning of money.

Get closer to your relationship with money and observe how you interact with it.

Pay closer attention to what people are doing with their money, and why.

Notice what they do with the excess.

Most of the time, it’s used for good.

As an example, look at Tony Hsieh.

Look at the amount of money he made when he sold his first company.

Then look at the amount of money he made when he sold Zappos to Amazon.

Previously, we wrote that he just died in a house fire.

Again, he was only 46.

But look at what people are saying about him.

For clarity, if you look him up online, you’ll find that people have said so many good things about him.

We’ve engaged in a vast number of conversations with people from around the world.

Don’t forget the 10 million we’ve spoken to, mostly in Southeast Asia.

Remember, we’ve worked with more than 22,000 leaders in every sphere of society – business (including non-profit), family, government, education, religion, arts, and media.

Where there is no consumerism, society perishes.

More exactly, where there is no vision, people perish.

It’s biblical.

This isn’t our truth; This is universal truth.

If we’re all honest.

Pope Francis’s thesis applies to both social classes and nations.

Through his lens, rich nations such as the United States and European nations have excessive wealth.

Thus, rich nations exploit and oppress poor nations – the Third World.

But he takes it further than this.

He then incites exploited nations to launch a counter-offensive against the consumerist world.

He wants to force rich nations to lower its consumption level to harmonize with the poor.

His reasoning is this: When we are all poor, we are all equal.

In the end, this is ultimately the glorification of laziness, proper to socialism and communism.

We dare say Pope Francis holds and endorses a fundamentally flawed idea of consumerism and capitalism.

We are not ignorant.

Exploitation exists.

We know.

We’ve seen it firsthand.

Abundance is joy.

We don’t want to force rich nations to lower its temperate consumption level to harmonize with the poor.

We want to encourage and persuade rich nations and rich leaders to show compassion and give generously to the poor.

Please look up the meaning of the word encourage and persuade.

We don’t want to just give the poor the basic necessities for survival, we want to equip and empower the poor to become Abundant Leaders at work and in life.

We aim to create abundant leaders in all 7 spheres of society.

It’s based on a systematic quantitative and qualitative increase in effort.

An egalitarian new world is lazy, achieving scarcity 20 years faster.

An abundant new world is hard working, achieving abundance 20 years faster.

Solving abundance for humanity is humanity’s grandest challenge, and we’re capable of solving it.

This is the kind of “universal fraternity” we propose.

We propose abundance, not poverty.

We promote total abundance well-being, not scarcity.

This leads to a healthy, smart, fast, and consistent kind of abundance.

This is true sustainability.

Sustainable abundance is every human’s birthright.
