Sir Richard Branson is living proof that there is a better way to do business. He is a trailblazer in demonstrating that you can build a highly successful business, even if your goal is mainly about making people happy, and less about making a fortune. He believes those are the companies that will survive these challenging times.

The are two main principles that serve as a foundation for everything he does:
1 - Outstanding customer experience. He built the kind of airline that him and his friends would want to fly with, and applies this thinking to all his ventures.
2 - Truly cares for his people, and this is felt throughout the company. He tries to only hire "decent people" who won't harm the atmosphere it's taken them years to build.
WFH Productivity in the '70s
While everyone is still trying to figure out how all these changes will work out, Sir Richard Branson shared how he built his empire from his living room. There were lots of tiny kids running around, and everyone had to go into the other room when he had a meeting. Even though it was quite chaotic at times, he feels that he spent more quality time with his kids than most working fathers. So even in his personal lifestyle choices, he set a new standard that was probably unheard of back then.
