We’re pumped to share we’re now offering Embedded recruiting services to our clients!

Embedded recruiting essentially means that we work with your team on a retainer model to source, interview and hire candidates - plus oversee the day-to-day process of hiring.

How did this come about? The founders we work with started telling us they simply didn’t have enough hours in the day to post jobs, review and respond to resumes, schedule phone screens, and communicate back and forth with early-stage candidates.

When you partner with an agency to take some recruiting off your plate, your schedule instantly frees up. This means more time spent on later-stage candidate interviews and the operations of running your business - not on juggling your calendar.

Sometimes Embedded recruiting is also referred to as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO). Either way, we’re already working with several clients under this model who are getting candidates sent their way almost immediately. Contact us to learn more.

Updated 2024 recruiting insights ??

From time to time, we like to share our recruiting predictions, and have some updates to add to our list for 2024.

If there’s one word to sum up 2024, it will be innovation. We’re seeing companies from the startups to larger enterprises we work with become more innovative with their hiring practices and find ways to work more efficiently, often paired with AI tools.

At RFS specifically, we’re seeing:

  • NEW: Rise in embedded recruiting. Embedded (or RPO) recruiting means that instead of hiring a full-time recruiting team, founders work with us to manage their full cycle recruiting efforts.
  • NEW: Greater emphasis on hiring senior talent. While many industries hire a new class of junior talent every year, we’re seeing senior talent receive more offers and demand because they don’t require as much training or guidance before jumping into their roles. While this isn’t true for every industry (like sales), hiring with seniority in mind is something a lot of our clients are doing.
  • Continued: A rise of technology to help with screening and throughout the interview process. AI tools can help with initial screening questions, and we’ve used some of these tools ourselves at RFS to hire internally. Check out some of our favorite tools here.
