RFS Career Academy Secures Grant to Expand Support for Royal Navy and Royal Marine Communities

RFS Career Academy is thrilled to announce the receipt of a grant from Greenwich Hospital Trust. The grant will enable the academy to enhance and expand its vital programmes and services, offering tailored support to the Royal Navy and Royal Marine communities and their families.?
This funding represents a significant milestone in RFS’s mission to empower military spouses, female veterans, and serving personnel by addressing their unique challenges and promoting mental well-being, career development, and social integration.?

Expanded Support Initiatives
With this grant, RFS Career Academy will:?
1. Boost Mental Health and Well-Being Support?
?? - Increase the availability and frequency of virtual support sessions, providing safe spaces to address issues like anxiety and isolation.?
2. Enhance the Coaching and Mentoring Programme?
?? - Recruit additional mentors and develop resources to meet the rising demand from Royal Navy and Royal Marine families, enabling participants to build confidence and achieve career goals.?
3. Deliver More Community Workshops
?? - Expand workshops across the UK, focusing on employability skills, professional development, and networking opportunities.?

Committed to Making a Difference?
The funding will directly benefit over 100 individuals, including serving personnel, veterans, and family members, while indirectly impacting an additional 400 people through its far-reaching initiatives. These efforts aim to improve mental health, alleviate social isolation, and support career transitions for participants.?
