Reynolds Road Shows in Canada Round Two: Edmonton and Calgary
You may remember that back in June, I had the opportunity to travel to Winnipeg, MB for a Reynolds road show. It was a two-day event where I got the chance to share my thoughts on the future of automotive and the next chapter for Reynolds.
I enjoyed myself so much that I jumped at the chance to do it all again in September. Last month, Reynolds held another pair of road show events. This time we headed west to Alberta and set up shop in Edmonton and Calgary to show dealers our Retail Anywhere solutions. These were well-attended events with representation from various dealerships. We had team members from every discipline on hand to help attendees see the power of our Retail Management System and our ability to help dealers be successful in the world of digital retailing.
Our first stop was in Edmonton, AB. After everyone registered, checked in, and enjoyed a continental breakfast, I kicked things off with opening remarks about Reynolds, our vision, and the direction of the industry. These road shows are a great way to demonstrate the ongoing advancements we’re making with our solutions. Everything we do is designed to help dealers streamline their operations, enhance the customer experience, and deliver improved business results.
The next item on the agenda was opening up our solutions expo floor. Dealers were able to explore what Reynolds offers and see live demos of how our solutions can improve dealership operations. I saw several engaging conversations happening between attendees and our Reynolds specialists. Being able to talk freely about business objectives is one of the benefits of meeting face to face!

We brought a full team of experts to showcase the latest and greatest in dealer technology. There were demonstrations on how to streamline the online retailing process, powered by deskit? and Gubagoo . And variable operations specialists demonstrated the seamless flow of data from start the finish through FOCUS , our CRM solution. Being able to work one deal from chat to signature makes all the difference!
In terms of fixed operations, dealers were walked through how our Advanced Service solution continues to be a critical part of dealer operations and profitability. GoMoto once again received a lot of attention. You may have seen it featured recently on a Forbes list of the 20 Best Examples of Self-Service. Kiosks keep popping up in more places as customers continue to seek out self-service options and alternatives to the traditional service experience.
At the end of an action-filled day, everyone pitched in to help pack everything up and prepare for the next stop—including Craig Thesen , regional sales director, Lance Alverson , vice president of sales, and Chris Rulon , senior vice president of system sales. In addition to all of our fantastic solutions, Reynolds also has some of the best people. People who are passionate and committed. People who wake up every day wanting to help our customers be successful. People who are writing the next chapter of the retail automotive story.
