1. ?? BOLD’s premier Black History Month event showed us that 40 is just the beginning.

BOLD’s crowning BHM event was a celebration of the group’s ruby anniversary. V Teamers joined in person at Basking Ridge, virtually via webcast, and at watch parties in all of our Work Forward Hubs for the event, which was capped by a leadership conversation led by Christina Schelling , SVP of Talent and DEI.

?? Favorite Factoid: BOLD’s Global Lead Sammy Drayton revealed that over the last three years, the group logged over 30,000 volunteer hours. WOW!

2. ?? We no longer wonder, wonder, wonder, wonder who wrote the Book of …? Business* .

That’s because we found out who… and it’s you! That’s right, retail manager Paul Martin joined us to spill all of the Book of Business secrets, including the fact that we’re expecting it to account for 10% of gross retail adds … but shh! Don’t tell …

???? Favorite team effort: [3:10] We were stoked to find out that the BoB (we’re trying to make this acronym catch on) isn’t a solo project. Managers like Paul are having check-in sessions to share tips, best practices and make sure we succeed together.

3. ?? We celebrated National Engineers Week with a panel of black engineers.

And it was a feel-good story if ever there was one. It’s hard to overstate how cool it is to work for a company where the path to becoming an engineer is anything but a straight line. Our panelists showed that you can find your way there even if you start in operations support, marketing and numerous other departments as long as you are smart, inquisitive and willing to learn.?

?? Favorite partner: ?And speaking of engineers, Chief Network Officer Lynn Cox lent her support to the team - she’s spent the past 26-years as a “proud engineer by trade, not by study,” as she said in her recent interview.
