The rewarding road to leadership and paving the way for others at FIS?

Global Operational (Front, Middle & Back) Leadership Elevating Customer Journeys & Maximizing Lifetime Value Service Delivery Champion Digital Journey & Transformation (Automation/ AIML/ Gen AI / Tools) SRE Practitioner
As the head of the Client Experience for Capital Markets at GDO, I’m responsible for supporting regional and global Capital Market clients with effective and efficient client response mechanism. My team and I deliver value-added services through automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning and add-on ventures to benefit global stakeholders and our clients. I’m honored to provide local guidance and line management support to our Sales Support and Marketing Operations teams.
How I got started My early inspirations came from my parents for nurturing simplicity, dedication and a competitive spirit. I gained my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Systems from Pune University. At the turn of the century, I switched from Manufacturing to a Silicon Valley-based startup in a QA/Implementation domain where I was able to develop several Automation harness tools to improve the time to market and accelerate delivery throughput.
What I’m most proud of In 2007, I joined FIS (then SunGard) from HSBC as a QA Lead for Valdi Americas. Over the past 14+ years of my journey, I’ve had a strong focus on establishing robust Quality and Process Management culture. We are one of the early adopters of our functional horizontal philosophy, and with strong support from stakeholders across locations, we build a solid foundation that established a ‘clients first’ attitude.

I’m proud of the connections and bonds I’ve had across various cross functional teams throughout my career that has helped me adapt and grow. I’ve learned that a lot of focus needs to be given in defining transformation approaches from grass-root levels. Some of the best ideas come from our younger generations, and we must create a conducive environment to respect their opinions & support them. That’s why I like closely working with my staff – the job of a leader is to enable group’s collective strengths to deliver business goals.
?My advice to you The best way to learn is to listen – strengthen your listening skills and reach out to develop new connections and deepen the relationships you already have. Remember that quality matters more than quantity. Take the time to set periodic goals and learn from your experiences. As an avid reader, I believe books are a worthy treasure, invest in them. Here’s a book recommendation for you: “The Leader’s Guide to Storytelling by Stephen Denning”.
