1 年I follow the Hyperloop updates with a lot of interest. I am also a skeptic, having seen the same euphoria about maglev 50 years ago when I had just started my career as an engineer. I am now practically retired and large-scale maglev is still nowhere in sight. This time around, hyperloop seems, as did maglev at that time, better planned. The idea of creating and maintaining hundreds and thousands of kilometers of vacuumized tubes looks surreal. I wish all success to Zeleros and other entrepreneurs.
