As technology continues to advance, so does the way we search for information. And Microsoft has just raised the bar with its latest AI-powered updates to its Bing search engine and Edge browser. This is a game changer for those who rely on search engines to get the answers they need.
Bing's new chat feature is particularly impressive. You can chat with Bing to get more detailed answers to your search queries, making the search process more conversational and interactive. You can even plan trips and get answers to questions like "how much will this trip cost us?" or "can we add or change something in the itinerary?" This feature makes use of OpenAI's GPT technology and is similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT AI.
One of the most exciting things about the new Bing is its ability to answer questions with context, much like ChatGPT does. The new Bing is also able to create itineraries for trips, and it can continue to answer follow-up questions as you plan your trip. This level of interactivity is a significant improvement over traditional search engines.

My view of the search results is as follows: As you might have noticed, the contents of the results are enriched with more step-by-step information or more bullet points. This makes my choice to pick the relevant blogs or websites more accurate. Having said this, I would be happier if there was content prescribed by Bing utilizing the ChatGPT capability. Often, I look for quick references. If it is research, I will, of course, refer to many websites and read the best of them, but eight of the ten searches are not research-related. I would rather get direct content or responses generated by ChatGPT as Bing responses. This can be displayed on the screen by utilizing the whitespace left blank and thereby using the screen's real estate better.
In conclusion, Microsoft's new Bing is a significant step forward in the search experience. With its AI-powered chat feature, ability to answer questions with context, and use of screen white space, Bing is revolutionizing the way we search for information. I would highly recommend giving it a try and see for yourself how it can make your search experience more efficient and enjoyable.
