This reminded me, long time back, when cloud based HRMS tools were new to the market, together with the JIRA team (JIRA, the tool was already been used by dev team) and HR team, we brainstormed and tried to set up automated actions for the HR activities and policy practices using JIRA. It was a pretty good start with a company of 200 people that time and also, it helped the stakeholders to reduce time to move to new cloud based HRMS tool. It served improved understanding of how these tools work and what limitations it could have which we would need to be aware while changing technology and processes, if required.
