Modular construction is a great alternative to traditional construction when looking at the amount of waste each method produces. In construction project generates in average about 10 % scrap material, however when modular concept is used the scrap generation can be minimized to great extent (expected 5%). For a Mega project this 5 % is a good saving towards sustainability. Traditionally construction projects are managed in temporary store and timely availability of all component required for the assembly often get tedious, misplacing is common and sometimes it takes time to search.? On-site Noise pollution is greatly reduced as well considering the traditional processes.
