Revolutionizing Church Mission Displays – Creating an Interactive Experience

In the foyer of many churches, there is a display for the various global ministries the church support. Have you ever visited the one your church has? Unfortunately, in far too many churches, an overwhelming number of members and participants cannot identify the missionaries their church support, let alone know their names, the mission agency, or the type of ministry their supported personnel are involved in.

This week the Unconventional News Newsletter highlights some innovations in the area of Church Mission Displays. Please share this news with your church!

I invited Paul Douglas , founder and creator of Digitial Mission Dipslay , to join the Unconventional Ministry Podcast to explain.

To transform this disheartening reality, Mission Displays have implemented and offers an interactive touchscreen display that features world and continental maps, allowing church members to easily access information on their supported missionaries with just the touch of a finger.

Through this innovative approach, MIssion Display sought to foster deeper connections and understanding between church members and supported missionaries with a creative, engaging, and interactive touchscreen experience.

Here is a pastor's perspective on the missions program at his local church using the Mission Display.

By implementing the interactive touchscreen display featuring world and continental maps, we have created an engaging tool that allows church members to easily access information on their supported missionaries with just the touch of a finger. This innovative approach bridges the knowledge gap and encourages increased awareness, accountability, and involvement in their supported missionary efforts, strengthening the bonds within the church community and promoting the fulfillment of our spiritual calling to support and uplift one another. Ease of use for both the user and the administrator was the focal point of the software design. Over the past decade, our software has been improved by listening to church leaders and implementing solutions.

Please let me know what you think. Does your church need an update to the static mission display in the back of your church? This might be the solution your church has wanted. So, please share with your church missions team.

Thank you for the opportunity to share our burden for missionaries and church members alike. Engaging our youth and creating ways for them to interact with the missions field is our mission. Let’s all connect to missionaries they are on the front lines of the Great Commission!
