1 年How about throwing lights on the other aspects of this too. As highlighted by Hamza the following few to mention. Too high a Capex, Undefined, variable and fluctuating Opex, Other inherent structural challenges. Competing cheaper imports. Comparatively low greenhouse growing costs, due to cheaper land. Some statistics on the break-even period of these farms across the globe would really help. Some published data say that, existing high revenue vertical farms have a break even horizon of 5 to 7 years in some cases even more. In modern times, with everyday advancements in the field of CEA, that's too much exposure for the investors. Vertical farms have to become meaningful in many aspects,the primary aspect being crop diversity Inputs are welcome.
