Revolutionary Leadership

Revolutionary Leadership

When I was lecturing at university a wonderful colleague of mine Professor Peter Camilleri kept saying to me to get this book finished. He is the inspiration behind my recent book published on being a revolutionary leader and supervisor using the PASE supervision and leadership model. Why are there so many staff, leaders and business owners that are still unaware or unsure of what it means to develop and maintain a high performing team? I ask myself how can this still be the case in 2021 when we have so much information about what is great leadership and makes a great leader? Well there are a couple of reasons that are are obvious, yet not so much - and it is all in the brain. As we know our brain is a complex biosystem that needs predictability and certainty. It needs to understand context, meaning and inference. Yet too often leaders are not aware of how to construct language, messaging or context in a way that lends itself to success in the workplace. Leaders are too busy and all too often lead from the left side of the brain, do not consider concepts around motivation and arousal and before you know it, we have another conflict situation, reduced performance and a myriad of other workplace challenges. The other thing that is critical to be a successful leader is to have an integrated leadership and supervision model that links to neurosocial science, language, capability, and neurofeedback mechanisms. To be a leader that brings predictability to the workplace, the one thing you can do to support staff, enable them to feel valued to come to work most of the time and to increase their performance. This book is a practical guide to support you as a leader and from the thousands of workplaces we work with at Amovita, this is certainly the case. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] about your leadership challenges and how we may be able to assist.
