Revolution Of Rubber Dams
In today's ever-changing world of water resources and environmental concerns, it is crucial to have innovative water management solutions. Rubber dams have emerged as a versatile and effective tool that offers numerous advantages in various applications. At YOOIL Envirotech, we recognise the power of rubber dams and have successfully implemented them in diverse projects throughout India.
So What Are Rubber Dams?
Rubber dams are pliable constructions composed of resilient, reinforced rubber. Their extraordinary versatility in managing water levels stems from their easy deflation when not in use, which may be accomplished with air or water.?
Here are some rubber dam’s main advantages:
Economical with Manual & Automated mode:
When compared to conventional concrete constructions, rubber dams provide substantial cost reductions. It runs on both manual and automatic constructive modes of operation that allow more substantial working accuracy.
Ecologically friendly:
They are a wise option since they have little effect on the ecosystems around them.

Well-made rubber dams are capable of lasting for many years.
YOOIL Envirotech Case Studies: Rubber Dams in Action
At YOOIL Envirotech, we provide innovative and sustainable solutions to tackle complex water challenges. Rubber dams are just one of the many tools in our arsenal. The Chilwa Rubber Dam in India, completed in just two years, provides 1400 m3/hr of water to the HURL fertiliser plant. Made of reinforced rubber, it can easily regulate water flow by inflating or deflating. Compared to steel gates, rubber dams offer benefits like a wider span, shorter construction time, lower costs, and a longer lifespan. YOOIL Envirotech Pvt. Ltd. received a certificate of appreciation from Pdil for their work on the project. Contact us today to explore how rubber dams can benefit your water management needs.
The Sihora Rubber Dam, located near Nagpur on the Kanhan River in Maharashtra, is the longest single-span air-filled rubber dam in India. It is 70 metres long and has a 2.57 Mcum storage capacity. Constructed on an alluvial raft foundation using secant piles as a hydraulic cutoff, the dam is renowned for its quick construction, low afflux, and flow obstruction. It functions entirely automatically and inflates when the water reaches a predetermined level.
