REVIVE YOUR HEALTHY HABITS THIS SPRING
REVIVE YOUR HEALTHY HABITS THIS SPRING
How are your resolutions coming along? You know, those goals you set a few months back??If your New Year’s Resolutions are long gone by now then no worries, spring is finally here, and you get another opportunity to get back on track with the added bonus of nice weather!?Here are some tips you can use to help you revive your healthy resolutions this spring:
?
Remember the reasons why you wanted to make these changes in your life in the first place. If you need to, rewrite them down and place notes around you to remind you of your “why”
As spring heats up and summer follows, utilize the warmth it offers. Try to get outside more often for a nice walk or if you can, take your exercise routine outside.
If you took a step back from healthy nutrition habits, now is a great time to reignite that motivation with summertime quickly approaching! Remember that small changes can add up to big results over time. Get back into tracking in a nutrition tracking app if you previously stopped and get back into a meal planning routine! Even 5-10 minutes of planning ahead can save you hours throughout the week and set you up for success when it comes to your nutrition goals.
Has your self-care fallen off since the beginning of the new year? This is a great time for you to restart your self-care routine. Schedule time for yourself even if it’s just a few minutes of journaling or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in the morning before everyone else in the house wakes up!
Now that the “spring-ahead” time change is behind us, it’s time to get into a routine to promote as much restful sleep as possible. Make sleep a priority because it is so important for your overall health and well-being!
Don’t be hard on yourself if you failed to stick to any or all of your new year’s resolutions, life happens and sometimes numerous changes can happen between January 1st to now. Appreciate the good in your life and focus on small, sustainable changes to help make for a happy and healthy spring and summer!
