Isaiah 40:31

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Isaiah 40:31

King James Version

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Praise the Lord! Praise the God who bestows all blessings. As we approach the end of another month, we must consider ourselves fortunate to have seen this day. Every day is a testament to Father God's grace and mercy, which extends to all the newness of a day never seen before and one that will never return. Let everything that has breath worship, praise, and give thanks to Him. Our lives reflect God's deep reverence and gratitude for all He has done and continues to do for each of us. We should pause every now and then to consider where we would be if we had not accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior. I have no idea where I would be if Christ were not in my life, but I am certain that I would be lost, without hope, like a ship without a rudder or sail, and possibly no longer among the living. Even thinking about a life without Christ is unpleasant. Aren't you glad that one day our Lord and Savior knocked on your heart's door and you welcomed Him in? Jesus No, I'll never forget the day you set me free. We pray for others to come to know Him as we have because He is sweet. God, our Heavenly Father, devised a perfect plan for us to be able to return to Him and His amazing love, a plan that is secured by the sacrificial Blood shed by Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son. We pray fervently for the lost to accept Jesus and be saved. We want everyone to come to where the table is set and feast with us. However, it is up to each individual to make that decision and choice, so let us continue to pray for others to open the door and let Jesus in, while there is still time.

When I heard about the Kentucky revival, I thought it was an answer to prayer and began to investigate. Was this a response to what I had been praying for and what I had asked others to pray for? Since the beginning of COVID-19, which I believe was a message to us to seek God, my prayer has been for a revival of repentance on this planet. COVID-19 served as a wake-up call to me about how much we needed to seek God. Every day, the spirit directed me during my midday prayer to ask God for a revival of repentance on this planet. Then I invited others to join me in this prayer. So, when this revival began in Kentucky, it was only after visiting various websites that provided information about the revival, hearing people publicly repent, and reading reports of widespread repentance not only in Kentucky but also in other churches and other places worldwide. I was finally sure that this was an answer to our prayers, so I jumped in with both feet, telling everyone I knew, spreading the word, and being happy and excited that God had answered our prayers.

The scripture that says those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength took on new meaning for me because I felt strengthened after waiting and continuing in prayer, fasting, and supplication.

Psalms 27:14 TPT

Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!

Psalm 27:13-14

The Message

I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God.

I've seen posts from others saying they were waiting to see what happened before joining in or showing support. It's almost as if some are just watching and waiting to see if this is divine intervention. I saw a YouTube video posted by someone claiming that this revival was not biblical, that women were not to preach, and that they had a sizable following. For them, I pray that God's love is perfected, because God alone is in control of everything, and everything works together for good.

1 Corinthians 13:7

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].

1 Corinthians 13:3-7

The Message

If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.

I am convinced that small beginnings are not to be despised, and I believe that because there is repentance, which is so rarely spoken of or preached these days, I will accept this as an answer to our prayers.

Someone recently contacted me and asked if repentance and the gospel were being preached at the Asbury revival. And I told the person that I always worry about that when I go to a church or other organized gathering. Then, after visiting sites, hearing testimonies, and finding out that people were repenting whether the gospel was preached or not, I felt compelled to share.

After all, I believe it is a divine intervention and an answer to prayers.

Thinking about the person who asked me that question, I began to reflect on how we all have different gifts, and who am I to judge you because you like to paint, cook, or write for the glory of God? If you are saved and have accepted Christ, what you do, at least to me, reflects his glory. People who stand back and say they'll wait and see are missing out, in my opinion. I've always thought that if people don't accept Christ now for whatever reason, they'll have a lot of catching up to do when they do because we'll keep moving forward.

As I write this, I am filled with joy because I believe that God is moving through His Spirit, and many people who have found emptiness in everything they have encountered are deciding that man and everything he creates are not the answer, but that believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, the hope of glory, is the answer to what ails the world today. I pray that everyone will turn away from the distractions of this world and believe in God's saving grace, accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior, beginning a relationship that will last forever, repenting of sin, and being saved. May everyone we pray for realize that God's way is the best way and that accepting Christ is the only way to be saved, and my goodness, grace, and mercy follow them forever. In Jesus' name, I pray that our lives will be examples of those who believe in God's transforming power, which heals, delivers, sets free, answers prayers, opens doors, redeems, and supplies all our needs, and we will never lack. May we be so overflowing with goodness, kindness, love, worship, joy, peace, victory, faith, wellness, prosperity, and devotion that those who see us will also desire salvation. God answers prayers, so let us always pray in the unrivaled, mighty name of Jesus.

I am sure I will be adding to this after having read and watched videos of different responses to what began in Asbury.
