A Review on uCertify's Course CySA+ (CS0-001)

After passing Security+, I've been studying for CompTIA CySA+ using uCertify's complete course (https://www.ucertify.com/exams/CompTIA/CySA-plus.html). It's been a few days now and this has lots of great material to help you get certified. The content, quizzes and labs won't just help you pass, it will also help you be very skilled as a Security Analyst.

There's lots of really in-depth knowledge given in the course and very well structured. After reading about a subject, you have a tiny quiz right there to help you remember what you just read. Then at the end of each lesson, you are challenged to think. You are given a scenario and a situation, these kinds of questions really help get you apply what you learn to various scenarios you might encounter.

There's flashcards for each lesson with many terms to learn, and you test yourself as you gradually learn more and more terms to help you become more familiar with them and score better on the test. The course challenges you to keep retaking until you score 100% on each quiz. You are also given a readiness score based on your performances on the quizzes and tests. If a score of 90% or more achieved then you are eligible for a certificate from uCertify, and by that time you definitely should be ready to pass the CompTIA CySA+ exam, I don't know who wouldn't after passing this course.

Besides the quizzes and reading, the best part about the course I think is the labs they provide, almost all the lessons also provides a lab to simulate a real-world scenario that a security analyst might perform on a day-to-day basis. Again this course doesn't just help you learn the knowledge to become a Security Analyst and be certified, it helps you perform the day-to-day functions of one so you're more prepared and skilled. Personally I don't like reading much, but with questions and little quizzes everywhere is what really helps me get through the course and practice the knowledge I learn from the course. If you really want to learn in depth and practice with labs, this is definitely a course I would get.
