A Review of the Last 5+ Months a.k.a. What the h3ll happened to ‘daily’ ?!?

At the start of this year, I set myself a simple challenge: improve my life by 1% every day.

The idea was straightforward: take small, consistent actions that, compounded over time, would lead to substantial growth by year-end.

In the first few months, I focused on doing something new each day.

It was exciting — to come up with small, intentional actions that would push me forward.

Some days it was about learning something fresh, or trying a new habit; other days, it was more about adjusting my mindset or tackling a small project. These daily steps, while small, kept me engaged and helped me feel like I was moving forward with purpose.

But it also took a lot of creativity, and as the weeks went by, I realized I was starting to feel drained. By May, I could tell it was time for a change.

That’s when I decided to shift gears. Instead of focusing on daily experiments, I chose to concentrate on a few bigger projects that would give me the same 1% growth, but in a way that felt more sustainable.

This approach allowed me to put my energy toward goals that would take more time but could lead to even deeper growth in the long run.

It felt like the right choice — a balance between making steady progress and not stretching myself too thin.

In my next few posts... over the next 6 days, I’m going to share more details about each of these projects. Each one has been a valuable part of my growth, helping me improve both personally and professionally.

I’ll go into how these projects came to life, what they’ve taught me so far, and how they’re helping me reach my goals. Then, in a final post, I’ll outline my plans for continuing this journey of daily improvement for the rest of the year.

Reflecting on the past few months, I’m more convinced than ever that progress doesn’t have to be a big leap forward every day. Sometimes, it’s the steady, small steps that lead to the most lasting changes.

It’s been a rewarding journey so far, and I’m looking forward to where the rest of the year will take me.

I am looking forward to reading your next posts. Opposing exciting would be boring, the side which I was in more, so I am curious how you define the between, and find the steady progress
