[Review] I Tried Biolage Smoothproof Hair Pack and Hair Serum

My hair quality saw a major shift in recent times probably due to changes in weather, stress, and age. Not that I am 50 years old ?? but I am close to 30 and no way your hair or skin won't go through any changes.

Same reason, I have been focusing on my hair care lately. Apart from the usual supplements be it biotin or anything, I have developed this newfound interest in hair masks.

I had already used, loved, and recommended Biolage smoothrpoof shampoo and conditioner so I thought why not try the remaining products - hair pack and serum from this range?

So, I went ahead and restocked my shampoo and conditioner along with the pack and serum. I bought the whole kit.

I had high hopes but unfortunately, I did not see any results. The pack did not do anything for my dry, rough, and frizzy hair.

I tried applying the mask before shampoo and I also tested it out after shampoo instead of the conditioner, but, no results. I couldn't tell if I used any hair pack.

Biolage Smoothproof Deep Smoothing Serum

Serum, on the other hand, worked pretty fine. It claims to help manage and detangle hair and it for sure helped me detangle my hair post wash. It didn't cause any breakage and I as able to brush through my hair post hair wash easily.

Coming to how effective it is in treating frizziness, then, it no doubt helps with that even in the humid season. My hair went through so much of roughness and frizziness during humidity and as claimed by the Brand, the serum controlled the frizziness.

It did not add any nourishment or shine though. It is a decent one. Nothing extraordinary. If you are on the hunt for a hair serum for your day-to-day use to tackle frizzy hai, this is it. But if you need something to style your hair or add shine post-styling, I will suggest L'Oreal's extraordinary oil serum.
