Review Forms from Hell
I get to see some exotic review forms. These forms are usually concocted by someone with too much time on their hands, or a latent bent to showcase their mastery of excel.
HR, managers and employees are rebelling. They have had it with these malevolent and draconian instruments of modern torture. You know what I’m talking about – those forms with mind numbing formulas and confusing calculations. They are not only irksome and antiquated, they don’t accomplish what they were designed to do and that is measure and improve performance.
There is a better way. The irony is that employers think they are saving money but in fact they are costing the company in many ways. Best practice calls for reviews to be done at least twice or more in a year if you are serious about improving performance. To learn more please see my other articles.
