A Review of CHILD CUSTODY- A COMPLETE GUIDE FOR PARENTS
I just finished reading the recently-published book, Child Custody - A Complete Guide for Parents, co-authored by Michigan domestic relations attorney Henry Gornbein and Jack P. Haynes, PhD psychologist. I have practiced family law for over 35 years and I can sincerely say that I wish this book had been written decades ago, so that I could have given a copy to every client who walked through my office door with a custody case. Not only do the authors cover every potential issue that a parent in a custody case is likely to encounter, but also focuses strongly on helping parents make good decisions that put the child's best interests first. Even more, the book shows, in plain English, how parents benefit by putting the children first rather than weaponizing the little ones in a divorce or other legal dispute.
This book should be required reading for every parent about to embark on a legal battle over the parenting time and custody of his/her children.
