Reverse Prompt Engineering In Krea AI: How To Achieve Your Desired Output

Have you ever had a challenge achieving your desired output (generating your desired image) as a Generative AI (GenAI) user? There are certain images that we might find too complex or awe-inspiring to replicate. Let me introduce you to a solution known as reverse prompt engineering. We will use Krea AI in this tutorial.


First, let us define reverse prompt engineering. Reverse Prompt Engineering is the reverse of normal prompting. In Reverse Prompt Engineering, you input (upload) the desired output (image) to the AI and let it write for you a prompt that can almost accurately generate a similar output.


When is reverse prompt engineering important? In the world of AI, we often use prompts to generate images. These prompts serve as a blueprint, guiding the AI system to create visually stunning and realistic images. However, there are certain images that we might find too complex or awe-inspiring to replicate. This is where reverse prompt engineering comes into play. By reverse prompt engineering, we can unravel the secrets behind these breathtaking images and create our own versions.


Now let us dive into a simple step-by-step example using Krea AI.

  1. Go to Krea AI (click on https://www.krea.ai/ )
  2. Sign up if you haven't.
  3. Click on "Upscale & Enhance"
  4. Click on the + icon to upload (input) your desired output (an image that you want to create a variant copy of/ an image that you want to describe)
  5. Enable settings on the check box to your right side
  6. Once you enable settings, Krea AI automatically creates a prompt that accurately describes your uploaded image (desired output). You can find this prompt on the check box/wizard to your right side
  7. Now copy that prompt and paste it on your preferred GenAI to generate an image closely similar to your input (desired output)

And that's it! We have just created a prompt that can generate an image that deemed so complex to generate (describe) at first.
