How RevOps Can Drive Efficiencies in a Down Market

I love this article by Nick Rose because it speaks to the moment: the tech market slowly seems to be getting better, but many businesses are still cost-conscious...while simultaneously feeling uncertain on what to cut vs. what to keep.?

The best-positioned businesses have run a RevOps diagnostic, looking at their strategy, process, tech, and people to find efficiencies and tech debt. We want to build on/create more efficiencies while cutting down on unnecessary complexity and tech debt.?

RevOps Pro Tips: Prioritizing People Over Processes

One of my favorite RevOps tips is to pay attention to the people. Too often, we get over-focused on the tech, the politics, or the processes and forget to win the hearts and minds of the people who will be expected to use them.

For this reason, I recommend setting up open office hours for folks to come to say hi and ask questions, as well as running quarterly and annual feedback surveys so you can keep a pulse on how your team and efforts are perceived throughout the business. With that data, you can make any improvements needed or pick up on issues before they become larger!?

What RevOps Means to Me

From Sara McNamara

To me, RevOps means aligning all go-to-market teams together, to make the business as successful and efficient as possible.

A well-run RevOps machine means being able to sleep soundly at night, knowing that you can adjust the company’s sails however you need and you can weather any storm that comes your way.

When you know your strategy, processes, tech, and people like the back of your hand, you have that great peace of mind that only comes from a well-oiled machine.?
