Revelation 13:12 Part 4

This bible study's focus will be a continuation of Revelation 13:12.

"Revelation 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."

them which dwell therein:

Habbakkuk 2 is all about idolatry, which is hating God/Jesus Christ and hating neighbors. These are violations of what Jesus taught in Matthew 22:37-40 to the haters (the Pharisees). We are unable to obey these without the Holy Spirit anointing, and those who are not born again (unsaved) will be deceived into worshiping Satan and false idols (other fallen angels and demons/devils) aka the first beast.

"Habakkuk 2:17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein."

to worship the:

"Deuteronomy 4:19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven."

"1 Kings 12:30 And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan."

"2 Kings 17:36 But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice."

"Acts 7:42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?"

"Acts 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you."

Star of Remphan is what is known today as the "star of David". Is Jesus the Christ of 1948 Israel, which is a modern day middle eastern country?

Moloch (Satan) is associated with child sacrifices which God heavily condemns in Leviticus 18:21. Remphan is also a false idol that is Satan; Saturn and Chiun are other names. Apostate Israelites (now apostate Christians of Romans 11) worshiped/worship Satan by offering up God's children as a sacrifice.

"Acts 7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon."

The above indicates that Jesus is the Christ of the Christian Elect of Romans 11 Israel (spiritual). The literal Israel, of that chapter, is still prophecy, because Jesus is still spreading the gospel and saving people. So, modern day 1948 Israel is not God's nation; it's Satan's child/children. It's a deception and a distraction from the Truth.

the first beast:

Beasts represent earthly kings, their kingdoms, and unsaved people under their authority; all evil spirits (sources of sin, iniquity, temptations, false signs and wonders) are beasts as well. Satan has always been the chief evil spirit that God allows to run these kingdoms (Daniel 7:4, Ezekiel 1:10, Revelation 13:2). Satan is also an instrument of God's judgment since God doesn't do evil Himself.

"Revelation 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle."

"Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image."

beast whose:

This speaks of the fourth beast and final evil kingdom which will stand up before the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"Daniel 7:19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;"

"Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is."

Revelation 17 beast cross references:

"Revelation 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit."

When the gospel is finished being spread across the world, Satan and all antichrists are allowed to win against God's Elect.

"Revelation 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them."

deadly wound:

The first beast of this chapter has ten heads.

"Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."

were wounded:

"Judges 9:40 And Abimelech chased him, and he fled before him, and many were overthrown and wounded, even unto the entering of the gate."

Abimelech means "father of a king". Related verses are below.

Manasseh ("to forget") is the king in this chapter.

"2 Kings 21:3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them."

"2 Kings 21:6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger."

"2 Kings 21:9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel."

God is the only God; all other gods are false idols (fallen angels and demons) and are self proclaimed. The below is sorcery, divination, witchcraft.

"Daniel 5:11 There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;"

Belshazzar ("Bel, protect the king") is the king of Daniel 5. Daniel's Babylonian name (Belteshazzar) means "Bel protects his life".

Verses with Bel and protection in them:

"Isaiah 46:1 Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth, their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: your carriages were heavy loaden; they are a burden to the weary beast."

"Jeremiah 50:2 Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces."

"Jeremiah 51:44 And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall."

"Deuteronomy 32:37-39 37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted, Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection. See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand."

was healed:

Leprosy, now called Hansen's Disease, is a physical manifestation of demon possession, sickness, disease, curses, uncleanness, which are all rooted in spiritual uncleanness. Clean/saved people avoided these people like the plague. The ancient Israelites were likely dark skinned due to the climate, so leprosy today happens in all spiritually unclean humans, regardless of race or skin color.

"Leviticus 13:24 Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;"

"Leviticus 13:25 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy."

Leprosy healed: "Leviticus 13:18 The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,"

"Leviticus 13:28 And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning."

Jesus Christ heals people who have faith, and Satan wounds people who have no faith.

Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to destroy the works of the devil. Jesus and His Holy Spirit filled Elect heal people today by casting out demons that cause many diseases. Many people go to pharmacies for medication and prescribed drugs way more often instead. What's strange is that the Greek word for sorcery is pharmakeia.

"Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

"Ezekiel 34:4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them."

"Matthew 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour."

"Matthew 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:"

"Matthew 12:22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw."

"Mark 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague."

"Luke 4:40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them."

"Acts 3:11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering."

In conclusion, one of the heads of the beast is also one of the rulers. A ruler or prince of the congregation is also one of the nobles, one of the rulers of the people, one of the elders of Israel, one of the chiefs. This same head becomes the ruler of this world.

Nehemiah 11 gives more clues. Jerusalem is representative of the global Christian church.

"Nehemiah 11:1 And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities."

Jesus spoke the below to the Pharisees ("separated one(s)").

"Luke 15:8-9 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost."

separated one:

"Acts 19:9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus."

Surrounding verses:

"Acts 19:6-7 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. And all the men were about twelve."

"Acts 19:11-12 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them."

Apostate Christians (Pharisees) are healed (made alive) from diseases after being wounded by demons/devils (killed). Miracles done by Jesus and Holy Spirit filled Christian disciples. They still chose to reject God by not believing and not having saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, they don't become saved by grace through faith and do not receive the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit.

"Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."

"Acts 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,"

Why 10 heads vs 12 for the tribes of Israel? Read the fate of Solomon in 1 Kings 11.

Strange women spiritually means false churches and their idols. Also, strange women can mess up a marriage (covenant) as well.

"1 Kings 11:1 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;"

Judah stays in David's (Jesus's) bloodline, Benjamin went to Ahijah ("Yah is my brother"), and ten northern tribes of Israel (ten heads) went to king Jeroboam ("his people are many").

Judah = God's Elect (firstfruits)

Benjamin = Christians who are like the apostle Paul. Jesus has to humble first and then He will save and use mightly for His kingdom. Future Elect (Judah) after the Great Tribulation.

Ten tribes (ten heads) = Mystery Babylon: all unbelievers in the Christian church, Satan worshipers, apostates, Pharisees that go to hell
