Revelation 13:11 Beast from the earth: Part 5

This is a continuation Bible study on the verse below.

"Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

and he spake as a:

The dragon, who is Satan, speaks lies, blasphemy, and deceit. His fellow antichrists do as well.

"1 Kings 13:18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him."

"Daniel 9:12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem."

"Luke 11:37 And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat."

Read the Parable of the Ten Servants.

"Luke 19:11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear."

"Acts 26:24 And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad."

as a dragon:

"Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."

Someone who is deaf and dumb is demon possessed. They can't hear (obey) Jesus, so they can't speak either (prophesy truth).

"Psalms 38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth."

Satan and his fellow antichrists are referred to as beasts when it comes to evil acts. God also uses Satan for judgment against his enemies.

"1 Samuel 17:34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:"

"1 Kings 20:36 Then said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him."

"Ezekiel 19:3 And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men."

"Ezekiel 32:2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers."

The flood represents corruption, evil spirits, evil people, bondage/slavery, desolation, and death.

"Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood."

"Jeremiah 51:34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out."

"Daniel 8:7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand."

"Revelation 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth."

The earth is Mystery Babylon and people being condemned to hell.

"Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."

"Genesis 4:11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;"

"Numbers 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods."

"Judges 11:35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back."

"Isaiah 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it."

"Lamentations 2:16 All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it."

This is the result of the flood from Satan and his fellow antichrists (evil spirits and humans). Gog are the representations of the antichrist king that will start the great tribulation against Christians (disobedient remnant that will be saved).

"Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined."

"Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

Revelation 12:1 starts the description of how the time of trouble plays out.

"Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

"Ezekiel 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face."

In conclusion, there are and will be Christians that will go into perdition with Satan into apostasy. An antichrist man/king (the fourth beast, beast from the earth) will make himself king over the Christian Church and will start making mandates (Daniel 7's "change times and laws") that decree that Christians violate the law of faith.

God appoints times and seasons.

"Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come."

Jesus Christ changed the laws from the law of Moses to the law of faith.

"Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law."

Galatians 4 talks a lot about going back under the law and Paul's warning against going back into bondage. "Galatians 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now."

No matter what happens, we must keep our covenant with God through Jesus Christ which is salvation by grace through faith in Jesus. Endure until the end.

This is God's everlasting promise to us!

"Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:"

"Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest."

"Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."

"Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away."
