Revelation 13:11 Beast from the earth: Part 1

Today's Bible study focus is on the verse that is below.

"Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

And I beheld another:

This is a reference to Daniel 7's third beast that strove together on the sea. Remember, a beast refers both to an evil worldwide kingdom and that associated evil leader and their followers.

"Daniel 7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it."

Jesus Christ (God Almighty) is the King of Israel. The evil happenings are God's punishment against evildoers.

The above references the below:

"Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"

"Genesis 42:28 And he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their heart failed them, and they were afraid, saying one to another, What is this that God hath done unto us?"

"2 Kings 7:6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us."

"Jeremiah 5:6 Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased."

"Hosea 13:7 Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:"

Symbolically touching a carcase (dead body) is unclean, and it leads to eternal hell and destruction.

All unbelievers are judged by the Law of Moses and not by the Law of Faith (faith in Jesus Christ). The Old Testament laws apply to those people, and they violate all of them.

The 1 Kings 13:29 verse refers to a carcase of a dead man who is also a beast (someone headed to hell).

"1 Kings 13:29 And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him."

1 Kings 13 provides parallel context for this entire chapter of where a priest/man of God/prophet disobeys God and turns to Satan worship and service and doesn't repent (turn away) from his evil way which is sin.

The corpse represents a burden, which also represents service, unfruitful works, sacrifices, burnt offerings, peace offerings, bondage, and the fruit of disobedience (lack of faith in Jesus Christ). These are all the works of the law, and Jesus Christ did away with all of this with His death at Calvary and resurrection.

"Numbers 4:47-49 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,

Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.

According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses."

"Revelation 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden."

Four is a symbolic number that God uses to symbolize something that is worldwide.

"Leviticus 11:27 And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even."

"Jeremiah 36:23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth."

"Jeremiah 36:29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?"

Ezekiel Chapters 1 and 10 have much more symbolic details of the beasts with wings and four heads.

The love of money is the root of all evil, and it leads to the death of oneself and others.

"1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

"1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

"Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."

"Revelation 6:10?And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

After times of death, a mass resurrection will happen when the Lord Jesus Christ returns!

The Lord God and the Lord Jesus, for awhile, will allow the land to be desolate but will revive everything at the end of the current world.

Desolation (Death, Great Tribulation):

Heathen temporarily have power and authority over Christians and steal and take everything good.

"Judges 14:4 But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel."

God's/Jesus's people take Satan's gifts (mammon, material wealth, money) in exchange for God's gifts (talents, holy souls, killing God's people). This is apostasy and the mark of the beast. They help send people spiritually to hell, and the grave and physically to death and the grave in service to Satan.

"Isaiah 39:1-2 At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.

And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not."

"Isaiah 39:6-7 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD."

And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon."

Resurrection (Life, Revival, Redemption, the Day of the Lord):

"Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb."

"Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."

"John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."

"Ezekiel 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them."

"Job 38:8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?"

"Psalms 39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee."
