Revealed: latest research findings for UK B2B SaaS
The latest Weavr research has found embedded finance is on the very-near horizon for most B2B SaaS platforms.
It could be a revenue-tight future and, while embedded finance is in its nascency at the moment, it could be growing up just in time.
The intention to embed is very high among UK B2B SaaS product managers, who are making clear revenue-focused bets on this new technology alongside other emerging technologies, such as AI.
The future of fintech
Alex Mifsud , Co-founder and CEO of Weavr, discusses his standouts from this Innovate Finance report, here's one example:
"Adoption of Embedded Finance
Three in five (60%) UK adults have used embedded finance services as part of the checkout process when shopping online in the past 12 months.
Weavr focuses on B2B embedded finance, but it's great to see embedded finance being broadly adopted in the UK even with consumers. This all helps to reshape customer - not just consumer - expectations of how financial services are accessed. Integrating financial services into non-financial platforms should become normal, expected, unremarkable."
Case study: Club Employés
When it comes to employee perks, “one size fits all” is yesterday’s model. With the help of embedded finance, Club Employés has put in place the final piece of the employee benefits jigsaw: the freedom of employees to choose and pay for precisely what they want, where they want.
Just like Club Employés, Weavr likes to think big and wide on the subject of user-enablement, which is why we’re delighted to have partnered with them on the latest stage of their development journey...
Forbes: The great balancing act
Meaghan Johnson writes in her latest article for Forbes : "For the past decade, startups have been at the heart of the shift from legacy, uninspiring banking products to more accessible, customer-centric, and relevant products for consumers and SMEs alike."
Meaghan interviewed Paul Staples , Group Head of Embedded Banking at ClearBank and Alex Mifsud , Co-founder and CEO at Weavr.
