Rev. Dr. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a man still not recognized as a Righteous Among the nations by Yad Vashem

In 2009, I attempted to petition Rev. Dr. Dietrich Bonhoeffer as a Righteous Among the Nations at Yad vashem and failed to achieve that end. I fully believe that Rev. Dr.Bonhoeffer put his life on the line for Jews by providing information of Hitler's location so that an assassination could be attempted and by actually directly taking part at the risk of his own life in the rescue attempt of the Jewish family Fliess in preparing safe passage out of Germany for them to Switzerland. The following quotation is attributed to him: "Judging others makes us blind, whereas love is illuminating. By judging others we blind ourselves to our own evil and to the grace which others are entitled to as we are." In my view, I try to give others the respect, kindness, and compassion that I would wish to be afforded in my everyday life. I make every effort not to judge others whenever possible.
