4 decades young with a zeal of a newborn. Polfrost Air-con was founded by my father Mr. Vinod Thakkar with an aim to produce international quality products used in the HVAC industry harnessing international technology and best indigenous raw material.

Since our establishment in 1989, we have always adopted an ideology of deep user focus, where we strive to provide the best quality service to our customers. Following the ancient Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi, we too want to provide excellent and unpretending service, with no expectations of return. Our intense emphasis on user demands and needs allows us to continually create products of outstanding quality for our customers. And returns are a by-product.

Since our incubation, our range of products, the scope of work, our experience with different kinds of industries, and our ways of serving the Indian customer, have been ever-evolving. We plan to expand our horizons and always be at the helm of the HVAC-R industry with a focus on Kaizen at every step.?

Our ideology of Omotenashi extends to our internal customers too. We focus on training and development as much as innovation. We believe our people run the business and not us. We are mere facilitators and enablers for them to excel at the mission.?

Similar to Omotenashi, our ideology is also deeply rooted in the Bhagwad Gita and is encapsulated in this verse where Krishna explains to Arjuna why fighting the war is his duty - Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshou kada chana, Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani.

Meaning: You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.

For us at Polfrost, this idealogy is deeply ingrained and we attempt to penetrate the same right up to our front-line warriors.

As a matter of fact, Omotenashi has given us that zeal of a newborn where we smile without reason and be happy without expectations.
