Meet Yogita, Senior Reliability Engineer in Pune. Her primary focus is to review business operations and assess trends and forecasts to determine the best possible processes and make recommendations on how to improve its efficacy based on data-driven decisions. Additionally, she engages in project planning activities and collaborates with other managers, offering insights on best practices. Furthermore, she prepares reports and dashboards for presentation in front of senior executives.

Q1- What has been your favorite memory at Mastercard?

It's hard for me to pinpoint an all-time favorite work memory as I've always been fortunate to have the best colleagues. I've made lifelong friends at work and shared too many laughs to count. While that experience is hard to sum up in one specific memory, all my favorites have my co-workers as a common thread, so my favorite memory is more like a favorite life asset. In this quest of meeting wonderful people and making beautiful memories.

Q2 - What motivated you to return to Mastercard? Was there anything specific you missed while you were away?

I'm at a point in my life where work-life balance is extremely important to me. Before my maternity my previous stint was also with Mastercard which assured me that I will always be in the goldilocks zone managing my family time and work life all thanks to their employee-oriented policies. Mastercard was always a home away from home for me, where I got all the support, and affection to keep me going.

Q3 - How would you describe your onboarding experience as a returning employee?

It was a pleasant experience, there was no hiccup in onboarding process. Tt was as smooth as could be. The whole onboarding process was very personalized and engaging as it kept me informed with my candidature until joining to asset allocation through and through. Every team was supportive and collaborative in making me feel welcomed at every point.

Q4 - What was the most important support your received from Mastercard on returning?

My team and manager have been considerate and understanding beyond expectation in handling a first-time, fussy mom. They helped me in filling every gap with new processes and skills by providing extended hand on my return.?

Q5 - How did your time away from Mastercard add value when you came back?

My time away from Mastercard probably marked the greatest experience of my life, motherhood. I became more patient, a great multitasker, observant; in all an improved person to face any challenges and handle multiple expectations in the best possible way.
