Returning to Business Post-Pandemic
Guidelines and resources continue to be pushed out by companies as many stay-at-home restrictions are being lifted across the United States. Some individuals are ready to get back to the office, while others are hesitant.
In the commercial real estate (CRE) industry, there has been so much adapting that many predict companies will implement more relaxed work-from-home (WFH) policies resulting in a reduced need for office space, while others suggest companies will need more space to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Individuals have had to adapt to the way they have been living, working, and playing. The new "Live. Work. Play." motto has a different meaning now than it did last year.
While there are still unknowns on how to appropriately reenter the office, commercial real estate (CRE) experts weighed in on how they plan to adjust and what they predict moving forward.

4 年As of right now, we will be opening our offices next Monday. Though it is always encouraged, our advisors are not required to be in the office. The employees will return, such as me and my assistant. However, if I ever felt that it was still not safe, I would ask to work from home a bit longer. Ironically, our advisors have done really well over the last couple of months considering the situation.

4 年Smaller offices will have more difficultly coming back online. Our smaller offices are not setup to address proper distancing practices. Therefore, I’ll be working from home for the foreseeable future to reduce congestion.
