Returning back to the 'New Normal'
As Physiotherapists we have never moved away from the 'hands on' approach until Covid 19 hit us. We essentially had to down our tools and rely on better ways of engaging with our clients & their pain, goals, aspirations and frustrations.
For many the transition to Telehealth or Virtual Consultations has been seen as a 'filler' or 'short term' until they reopened. The reality is these clinic owners have missed out on a huge chunk of work that could have catapulted our profession light years ahead.
Imagine being able to connect, empower, inspire people across borders, or change the notion of physiotherapy being a hands on profession alone. We had this one chance to improve our ability to get people educated & get the profession we love to adapt.
I don't think there is a normal anymore. In fact I am glad the 'new' normal will involve clinics like ours that embrace a hybrid model of Online & Face to Face appointments.
As I write this we have had 841 appointments virtually & will continue with this.
We are after all in the infinite game!

4 年Hi Rush, As a physio patient, I'm curious about your on line offer. I'm assuming it's about exercise and self-care techniques?
