Improvement Tip of the Month: How to map it out?

When it comes to improving your business, there are many ways to go about it, from cost reduction to leadership training. However, our newsletter will focus on tools to improve work efficiency, mistake reduction, communication clarity, and process improvement. So, let's get started.

Process Mapping

A process map is a planning and management tool that visually describes the flow of work. It is a visual representation of a series of events that lead to the delivery of your product or service. When done right, it allows you insight into a process, helps teams brainstorm ideas for process improvement, increases communication, and provides process documentation. Process mapping will identify bottlenecks, repetition, and delays. They help define process boundaries, ownership, responsibilities, and effectiveness measures or metrics.

Value Stream Map

A specific type of process mapping is called Value Stream Mapping, a great starting point for evaluating existing processes. Here is how to do it:

  1. Gather your team?
  2. Answer the following question on the far right of a whiteboard or wall.
  3. What customer need does your business complete? We will work backward from this answer.
  4. From here, use a square Post-it note to lay out the process
  5. Use arrow Post-it notes to show delays
  6. Then place your events in the correct order
  7. Identify any inventory levels carried between each step
  8. Now fix the delays and gaps in the process

If you need additional help creating your company Value Stream, please feel free to book a facilitated workshop. For more information, contact: [email protected].

Retention Tool: Want a New Way to Retain Top Talent

Over $100 billion in Earned Wage Access (EWA) is now being advanced to over 55 million employees every year

EWA helps your employees avoid unnecessary bank/lending fees and penalties

  • 81% of Employees no longer need to use a payday loan*
  • 79% of Employees rarely/never overdraw their account**

Empowering America's employees, enabling them to access, use and move their earned wages and money... anytime, through fee-friendly products?

Employers gain a recruiting and retention competitive advantage. Providing EWA is a compelling employee benefit option, reflecting your commitment to empowering employees to control their finances with the flexibility of earned wage access.

The great thing about building an EWA program for your business is that it comes at no risk to you. My affiliate company will shoulder all the risk.

  • No impact on the existing payroll cycle or cash flow.?
  • No loans are issued, and the company assumes?
  • no risk or liability.
