Mianyang announced that on October 15, Mianyang's first return train departed from Kokshetau, Kazakhstan. This train was fully loaded with 50 40-foot containers of imported barley and entered the country via Alashankou Port. It is expected to take 18 days. Arrive at Mianyang Zaojiopu Railway Logistics Base. This marks that Mianyang has successfully opened up a two-way, interconnected international logistics fast channel and has taken a new step in integrating into the "Belt and Road" construction.

It is understood that this train is a special imported barley train tailored according to the import transportation needs of local processing enterprises in Mianyang. The cargo weight is 1,300 tons. It allows Central Asia’s high-quality agricultural resources to effectively connect with the market demand of Mianyang, and helps local processing enterprises in Mianyang. Optimize costs, enhance competitiveness, better serve the city's industrial development and consumer market, and achieve "two-way travel."
According to the relevant person in charge of the Mianyang Municipal Commerce Bureau, in the next step, Mianyang will continue to optimize the return structure of international trains, seize the advantages of channel construction, and further expand the categories and scale of import and export trade business in countries and regions co-constructed with the "Belt and Road". Strengthen the organization and operation of return trains to ensure the stable operation of return lines.
