Return to Autodesk University
After 4 years of not presenting in person at Autodesk University, I made a return this year which almost didn't happen because of being sick just the week before. It was a great experience to be back and share what I know with others, even though I don't like public speaking and not a fan of Las Vegas.
Yes, still not a fan of Las Vegas after all these years, but I am less of a fan when most of my time is spent trying to recover from being sick the week before. I was traveling for work and on vacation, so that likely played a role in being sick along with running at Disney World in the early mornings for 3 days in a row. Nothing like humid and cold mornings after all.
Anyways... this year I presented on the basics of AutoLISP for those using AutoCAD LT 2024. The session was titled Leveling Up with AutoLISP in AutoCAD LT 2024. The recording, handout, dataset, and presentation for the session all can be found online.
If you are interested in extending the behavior AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT by automating workflows and simplifying tasks, you can check out my following sessions which I organized by experience level. A full list of all of my sessions over the years can be found on my blog.
