Retirement

As I reflect on my career journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for each one of you who has been a part of it. Today, as I step into the next chapter of my life, I want to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation for the invaluable experiences and relationships that have shaped my professional life.

As I reflect on the successful career I have had and the many accomplishments along the way, I am reminded that none of it would have been possible without the unwavering support and understanding of my loving family. Lynne, Chase, and Andrew, your patience, encouragement, and sacrifice have been the pillars of strength that have allowed me to pursue my professional goals, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

I still vividly remember my first job at Johns Manville in Defiance, Ohio, where I had the privilege to work alongside a remarkable group of Electricians like Al Lantz, Bill Pugh, and Jim Treece. The knowledge and mentorship I received from each of you were instrumental in laying the foundation of my career. While I may have had an Electrical Engineering degree, the three of you taught me the specifics of success working in an industrial setting.? Your guidance and support, especially during those early days, have left an indelible mark on me.

My journey led me to Johns Manville in McPherson, KS, where I had the honor of working under the leadership of one of my best bosses, Harry Weinhold. Your leadership style, Harry, inspired me to strive for excellence and fostered a work culture based on teamwork and respect. The lessons I learned from you continue to guide me in my professional endeavors.

There is one individual whose influence stands out prominently in my memory. Bob Mueller, your leadership and guidance during our time at Johns Manville in Richmond, IN, have left an indelible mark on my career, and I am forever grateful for the invaluable tools and insights you have imparted to me.? Our continuing relationship and ongoing Coaching have been something special in my life.

It's dangerous naming names, because you always leave someone out who meant so much, and to all my past colleagues, mentors, and friends, whether mentioned by name here or not, please know that I hold each of you in high regard and think of you fondly when I look back on my career. Your guidance, support, and camaraderie have been invaluable to me, and I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such talented and dedicated individuals. ??

Throughout my career spanning Johns Manville, Owens Corning, and Allied Reliability, I have had the privilege of collaborating with talented individuals and teams who have not only enriched my professional growth but also made each day a joy to be at work. The camaraderie and shared dedication to excellence have been the driving force behind our collective success.

As I bid farewell to this chapter of my life, I carry with me cherished memories of our time together and the knowledge that I have been truly fortunate to have worked alongside each one of you. Thank you for your support, camaraderie, and shared dedication to our common goals.
