Berkeley Board Fellows (open until filled in August) is a program providing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to nonprofit boards and organizations while developing the next generation of leaders. Board Fellows is a seven-month program (October 2024 – April 2025) in which pairs of MBA students are placed on local Bay Area nonprofit boards as fully participating, non-voting members. Fellows commit 8–10 hours per month and attend 3–4 board meetings, design and implement a board-related project, engage in subcommittees, and meet with a board mentor. Submit an application here >

Social Sector Solutions (deadline August 31, 2024) is open to all types of social enterprises, providing 900 hours of consultation (January – May 2025) on a topic of keen interest to the organization such as business planning, strategy, metrics, new markets, marketing, finances, and more. In a partnership with McKinsey & Company coaches, teams of interdisciplinary students are led by an experienced MBA to answer critical organizational questions and provide recommendations and actionable plans.
