The large property owner, Charter Hall, engaged WaterGroup to deploy a smart metering solution at their shopping centre at Pemulwuy. Since implementation, a leak at the centre has been identified and they are now saving $1,200 a week. Another large property owner, Vicinity, engaged with WaterGroup for a water audit. The water audit was conducted and 13 smart sub meters were implemented at their DFO store in Moorabbin. The new smart sub meters have removed the need for manual reading and increased efficiency of processes for the centre.
One of Australia’s largest supermarkets has WaterGroup’s smart metering across 158 of their stores nationwide. The operation, maintenance and monitoring of smart metering data are now providing the food retail giant with actionable items and verification of water savings achieved.
