Miha Deu: Leading SPAR Slovenia's Online Sales revolution
In the ever-evolving world of online sales and retail, Miha Deu leads the digital transformation of SPAR Slovenia as the Head of Online Sales. With over 2 decades of experience in project management, sales, and marketing, he's a seasoned professional known for his results-driven approach.
Miha's career shows his ability to solve problems and translate creative ideas into reality. Over the years, Miha has been involved in various projects spanning different industries, all focused on establishing and enhancing online sales channels. In May 2015, Miha embarked on an important role at SPAR Slovenia as Head of Online Sales with a seemingly straightforward mission: to establish online grocery sales. This mission was far from simple, but Miha's determination and strategic vision was behind the successful launch of SPAR Online in 2018.
SPAR is a well-established, trusted, top of mind brand in Slovenia, with a 30-year history on the market. This facilitates our online marketing when promoting products, and also assists our purchasing department’s efforts to acquire competitive products at competitive prices.
Miha's personal responsibility for optimizing online logistics and order preparation processes has been pivotal in making SPAR's online grocery model profitable.

Rachel Eyre: Pioneering customer-centric leadership at Morrisons
Rachel Eyre , the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Morrisons , is known to have made a remarkable impact in just 2 short years at the company. Her role encompasses many responsibilities, including customer service, brand and product development, marketing, pricing and promotions, digital initiatives, customer experience enhancement, insight-driven strategies, and public relations. Prior to her tenure at Morrisons, Rachel held significant roles at Sainsbury’s, where she contributed significantly to the organization's growth and innovation.
One of Eyre’s goals in leading the marketing function at Morrisons, a role she took on in April 2021, has been to build a “braver” brand, which is unafraid to shout about what sets it apart. Speaking exclusively to Marketing Week, Raquel said:
