One such advancement that has revolutionized the retail industry is self-checkout technology. Self-checkout systems empower shoppers by providing them with the convenience of scanning and paying for their items without the need for cashier assistance.

?Self-checkouts are automated systems that allow customers to scan and pay for their items without the assistance of a cashier. It typically involves the use of self-service machines or kiosks equipped with barcode scanners, weighing scales, and payment terminals.
Advantages of Self-Checkout:
Self-Checkouts have become increasingly common in retail stores and supermarkets for several reasons:
???Efficiency: Self-checkouts can expedite the checkout process by allowing customers to scan and pay for their items at their own pace. By bypassing traditional checkout lines, it reduces waiting times, especially during busy periods, and improves overall customer flow.
