Avoid using Tables, Columns, Text Boxes in your Resume since Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Can't Always Read Them. If it can't, all the data from your resume that are in these 3 ways of handling text literally disappear as far as the ATS is concerned,,
I had a client whose resume content was all in Text Boxes. His resume content was excellent but he kept applying for lots of jobs on indeed.com he was getting no responses from the associated employers. This had been going on for a year and he was getting very frustrated.
Once I got his resume data out of the Text Boxes and just in plain text, he started getting lots of interviews and he was happy as a clam!
So if you have all of some of your resume data Tables, Columns, or Text Boxes, get it out of there ASAP.
