Resume? CV? Here's the difference!

You’ve probably come across the words “resume” and “CV” more than a couple of times, especially if you’re an active job seeker. Employers may ask you to submit either/or any of the two and yes, there is a difference!

Let’s get into the key differences and what you should be including in them.

Resume

A description of what a resume is and what it contains. Above the description text is a screenshot of a Word document that supposedly contains the summary of one's resume, which reads "I is kind. I is smart. I is important."? Below that is an image of a crying child with the text "Hire me"? next to them.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

A description of what a Curriculum Vitae (CV) is and what it contains. Above the description text are the photos of Filipina actress Maris Racal typing, with her facial expressions showing the difference between how she looks like thinking of what recognitions to put in her CV and how she looks like when one of her achievements is simply "Best in PE in Grade 6."?
