  1. Upon activation of this update, Salesforce introduces limitations on a user's capacity to execute a flow. The execution of a flow is now contingent upon the user having been assigned the appropriate profile or permission set.
  2. As a result of this update, the FlowSites license is marked for deprecation.
  3. The implementation of this update enhances the security of flow execution, ensuring that only users with the requisite profiles or permission sets are permitted to initiate flows.
  4. Before this update, there were instances where all users had the ability to execute any flow without requiring specific profiles or permission sets.
  5. Enabling this update brings about a change, limiting access to flows solely to users who have been explicitly assigned the relevant profile or permission set needed to run a particular flow.
  6. How ? Enable the update. You can enhance user permissions by assigning the "Manage Flow" or "Run Flows" authorization to a profile or permission set.
  7. When? Salesforce enforces this update in Winter ’25.
