FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE

Genesis 3:5-11

“For God knows that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Now the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a thing of lust for the eyes, and that the tree was desirable for imparting wisdom. So she took of its fruit and she ate. She also gave to her husband who was with her and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they knew that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made for themselves loin-coverings. And they heard the sound of ADONAI Elohim going to and fro in the garden in the wind of the day. So the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of ADONAI Elohim in the midst of the Tree of the garden. Then ADONAI Elohim called to the man and He said to him, “Where are you?” Then he said, “Your sound—I heard it in the garden and I was afraid. Because I am naked, I hid myself.” Then He said, “Who told you that you are naked? Have you eaten from the Tree from which I commanded you not to eat?”

TOPIC: RESTORING IDENTITY AND PURPOSE IN CHRIST: Walking in Truth, Freedom, and Strength”

In today's Scripture verse, we see the consequences of disobedience and the importance of trusting in God's wisdom. Eve was deceived by the serpent, leading to the fall of man. This passage reminds us that our actions have significant impacts. As women of faith, we are called to trust in God's plan, take purposeful actions, and live in obedience to His Word. Let this be a motivation to pursue good deeds, strengthen our faith, and serve God wholeheartedly.

The enemy’s tactic is to undermine our worth and divine calling. But God is calling us to rise above those lies! We are fearfully and wonderfully made, destined for purpose, and clothed in His righteousness. When we fast and pray, we realign with God’s truth, shed insecurities, and gain the strength to step into our divine assignments. Let this time of fasting be a declaration that we reject the lies and embrace God’s calling with boldness, faith, and love.

Remember, our obedience and trust in God will lead to blessings and a deeper relationship with Him.

GENERAL PRAYERS.

1) THE CHURCH

- SCRIPTURE VERSE: "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." (Matthew 16:18)

PRAY: Heavenly Father, we lift up the Church to You. May it be a beacon of light and truth in this world, unwavering in faith, and victorious over all forms of opposition.

Strengthen the leaders and members to stand firm in faith and love, in Jesus Christ's Name.

2) THE NATIONS

- SCRIPTURE VERSE : "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance." (Psalm 33:12)

PRAY: Father, turn the hearts of our leaders and people back to You. Grant wisdom to the leaders and peace to their people. Let Your justice and righteousness prevail in the nations of the world, in Jesus Christ's Name.

- PRAY: Father, I ask for Your protection and blessings over my family. Unite us in love and faith, and guide us in Your ways. Let all the families represented on this mountain be united in love and purpose, serving You with a whole heart and glorifying You together in Jesus Christ's Name.

1. PRAYER AGAINST DECEPTION

LORD God, open my eyes to see the enemy’s schemes and lies. Help me to discern truth from falsehood, that I may walk in Your light and wisdom, in Jesus Christ's Name.

3. PRAYER FOR WISDOM AND OBEDIENCE

My Father, my God, grant me wisdom to obey Your voice rather than the voices of the world. Strengthen me to follow Your commands and resist the temptations that seek to draw me away from Your will, in Jesus Christ's Name. (Genesis 3:6)

4. PRAYER FOR HEALING FROM PAST MISTAKES.

LORD God, just as You sought Adam and Eve when they hid in shame, seek me in my brokenness. Heal the wounds of my past mistakes, and let me walk forward in Your grace and redemption, in Jesus Christ's Name. (Genesis 3:7-8)

5. PRAYER FOR A LISTENING HEART

Heavenly Father, when You call, let my heart be quick to respond and not hide in fear or shame, like Adam and Eve in the garden. Let my relationship with You be open, honest, and filled with Your love, in Jesus Christ's Mighty Name. (Genesis 3:9)

6. PRAYER TO OVERCOME SHAME PROJECTED AT ME.

Most High God, remove and destroy the garments of shame targeted at me, and replace them with Your righteousness. Help me to see myself as You see me, free from condemnation from my past or inabilities, in Jesus Christ's Name.

7. PRAYER FOR PURPOSEFUL LIVING.

My God, let me not be swayed by worldly desires, but help me to live purposefully for You. Restore my focus daily and guide me to fulfill the unique purpose You’ve placed in my life, beyond the temptations of this world, in Jesus Christ's Mighty Name. Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the opportunity to draw near to You through fasting and prayer. As I reflect on Your Word daily, let it be a lamp to feet and a light to our path. Fill me with the courage to trust in You wholeheartedly, knowing that You are my Ever-Present Help.

Strengthen me to face every challenge, and empower me to walk boldly in the purpose You've designed for my life. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard my heart and mind, and may I continually live in the assurance of Your love, now and always.
