Restored Lithuania turns 100: Inspired by the Future

Lithuania marks a centenary of restored statehood and many distinguished guests and state leaders address the nation from high tribunes. They are looking back to find and shape inspiration for the next century of my country. This is remarkable occasion to assess individual contribution and relation with your homeland for each person and for me too.

I spent last decade in expatriate roles in Kazakhstan. This was important time to me as it represents rich and fulfilling experience along with gratitude to my friends, teammates, partners and superiors I was blessed with - these are very special people. I want to thank each of them for years of support and friendship, for discoveries, frustrations, triumphs, common purpose and much more - we share amazing moments and memories for years. I worked directly with many people - hundreds if not thousands - and today my sincere thanks goes to all of you for your Partnership, Hospitality and Friendship.

 After my tenure at Kazakhstan Sovereign Wealth Fund “Samruk-Kazyna”, I left the mission I feel strongly about. By returning back to Lithuania I start my new mission with same strong feelings amplified by festive celebrations as Restored Lithuania turns 100. Inspired by the future.
